The 7 Second System CFP Converter helps to protect law firms from falling victim to cheque fraud by ensuring that only a firm's valid cheques are cashed. The system enables law firms using LexisNexis® PCLaw™ billing and accounting software to electronically report to the Bank cheques issued since the previous day with serial number, payee name and amount confirmation. This cheque data is realized through PCLaw™, re-formatted and imported into the Converter, which then validates, formats and converts the data into an upload file. The file can then be uploaded to the Bank through their web-based Cheque Fraud Protection System. Such a system effectively protects against cheque fraud through Postitive Pay with Payee Match.
